Let
your
heart
be
light
. . . . . . .
All I want for Christmas is a heart that’s light,
a heart that lights—
that transforms dark winter days into magical winter days. Who couldn’t use a warming up in the cold, a lighting up in the darkness? Who couldn’t use a little lightening up?
Every year around this time we put together a card—many a time starting in September—cutting ribbons, punching holes and stamping pretty things on paper. I love the slowing down that’s required when we sit down and look through every. single. picture from our year. Perspective.
Giving that lights up another is renewable. There’s plenty more where that came from. Right? Giving from our greatest resource: our love, is everything. The rest is just filler. It’s just stuff. Let’s remember to remember: more love, less fluff.
Let your heart be light.
Get rid of guilt.
Say no to stress.
Give the love, not the stuff.
Let the things in your heart be the things you want in your heart.
Be light.
Spread light.
